Protecting your own and others security in the work setting is part of your responsibilities. Some of the ways this canbe achieved are:

  • Using ID cards
  • Using locks and keycodes
  • Using passwords, firewalls and antivirus software to protect digital information
  • Locking doors and windows
  • Attending security training
  • Ensuring others know your whereabouts
  • Following agreed ways of working
  • Challenging and checking the identity of visitors
