This will involve taking the time to learn about them and have a genuine interest in what they have to say. This will demonstrate that you value their opinions and help to strengthen the bond of trust you have with them.

By promoting their identity and self-esteem, individuals will feel that they can express themselves, which will have a positive impact on their overall wellbeing.
