You can assess your own knowledge, skills and understanding against standards by reading them and analysing how your own work practice and performance compare with them. They can be very useful to highlight areas where you may need additional training or guidance.

The Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers in England is an especially useful checklist to ensure that you are working to best practices.
