Agreed ways of working are your employer’s policies and procedures.
Examples can include a safeguarding policy, a whistleblowing policy, a complaints procedure and the disciplinary procedure.
Your employer should make these easily accessible to you. This may be in paper or digital formats. If you do not know where to find these, you should speak to your employer. It is a regulatory requirement that health and social care organisations make these available to their employees. Your employer should also ensure that they are kept up-to-date and reviewed regularly.
It is a good idea to read through these documents to get an understanding of what your employer expects from you and how you should manage certain situation, especially those directly related your job role.
