You should be familiar with your own organisation’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedure and report your concerns to the relevant person or person(s). This may be a designated safeguarding lead, your line manager or somebody else.

Your day-to-day practice should embrace person-centred values and you should empower vulnerable individuals to understand their rights and be as independent as possible. This can reduce the likelihood of abuse occurring. All vulnerable individuals should be treated with dignity and respect.
