We have previously looked at some of the signs and symptoms of common childhood illnesses.
As we discovered, there are several signs and symptoms that are common across many different illnesses. These symptoms are an indication that a child’s immune system is fighting an illness and may require medical treatment or additional care
Common signs and symptoms of a poorly child include:
- A high temperature (fever)
- Loss of appetite
- Tiredness and lethargy
- Difficulty sleeping
- Irritability or clinginess
- Poor concentration
- Headache
- Aching muscles
- Regression (including bedwetting)
- Pale skin
