We have previously looked at national Safeguarding legislation, as well as local Safeguarding Policies and Procedures that are used within a setting.

Organisational policies and procedures are designed to ensure that an Early Years setting works in ways that comply with legislation and best practices and protect the welfare of the children in their care. Therefore, any changes to legislation will require policies and procedures to be updated to remain compliant.
