Knowing when to access information, support and advice are important because it can help to prevent discriminatory practices from occurring or being prolonged.

Some examples of times when you may need to do this include:

  • if you have a dilemma where your responsibilities relating to equality, diversity or inclusion are in conflict with other responsibilities, such as your duty care
  • if an individual, their family or a co-worker asks for more information about equality, diversity or inclusion
