To ensure positive outcomes for individuals receiving care, care workers must work in partnership with several other stakeholders.
As well as the service user themselves and their loved ones, this can also include doctors, nurses, social workers, advocates, appointees, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.
Care workers should also be able to work in partnership with their team, other teams within their organisation and their managers.
By working cooperatively, the best interests of the service users can be served through the sharing of ideas and insights by individuals with different perspectives.
